The Teacher and the Student

It is an interesting position to transition from student to teacher.  As a student, it is clear to see instructor practices that are agreeable and disagreeable.  It helps formulate my ideals as a student working under a teacher.  However, I am sure that the teachers believe that they are being fair and practicing their own ideals.  I want to remember to try to capture the ideals of my future students when running my own classroom.  If I stick with my own ideals, I may miss the needs of the students I am serving.
